I fit my music into a” trap – pop ” genre . Hardcore Rap/Trap isn’t me. I make that get up and dance music. Melodies are my thing. My sound is a part of my DNA . I’m a different type of creative. I play instruments so I’m very versatile. I like showing my supporters where I started, I’m not ashamed to show my faults. We all got to start somewhere. As long as you so progress your mistakes become lessons.”

He has opened for DJ Self, Jay Critch, Dej Loaf, Jaquae, DJ Drewski and among others. He previously connected with with Lougotcash and Cory Gunz and made a dope track call “Flashback.” The song was produced by Musa and it shows how much of an diverse multi-talented creative he can be. “Bust Down” featured Lougotcash and it also recieved radio play from Power 105.1 and other local stations.  Musa has performed at some of New York’s dopest spots such as: Milk River, The Delancy and SOB’s. Having many talents he is also a producer for the Soul Gemz Entertainment company. Yung Musa has worked with the Grammy nominated producer Shy Boogs. They produced “On Me” featuring Skinny from the 9, and Musa played lead guitar on the single.

“ I do feel it’s important for artists to collaborate on each other’s projects because different artist carry different messages, styles and slangs. Even with producers/beat makers, Collaborations are everything. Ask “ Dr Dre “ or “ missy Elliot ” You can reach fans across other platforms. My team has a big part in selecting my beats. ‘’ Fast Life Beats ‘’ & “ OVCZ “ are my main producers. They know my sound and consistently delivers with the heat.”
